lil rigs in a BLIZZARD world
Well, this was a bad time to start a blog about seeing the big world. My world has been kind of small for the past 2 days. We have been hit with a huge snow storm, which buried us in.
That didn't stop me from going out for a little bit at least!
Yesterday morning, I got in the car and went to see my great grandma! She always gives me some of my favorite treats. I also get to play with all of her toys... well, her cat's toys anyway. I love her cats, but they definitely scare me sometimes.
We didn't get to stay long because my mom was worried about the snow storm we were going to get.
It's good that we left when we did, because it started hailing as soon as we walked out the door. It was so scary! I have never seen hail that large before. We moved fast to get back to the car.
As soon as we got home, the hail seemed to stop. So that was a bummer that we left so quickly, but then the wind and snow started falling.
That meant we were staying in the house for most of the day. Which I don't mind, as I get to lay in my favorite spot. My mom calls me a "couch potato". I do not know what she means by that.
Although, I had to share the spot with my 2 sisters. This is Apple and Cannoli. They are always stealing things from me!
While my mom and dad were in the kitchen making something (they did not give me any scraps, grr), the power went out. Thats never good. My mom was freaking out about how they weren't prepared and didn't have their rectangles charged up. They sure love those things.
I think they just get in the way of the attention I should be getting.
My mom was also worried about the heat in the house, but not me. I had my favorite spot with ALL of the blankets. We got all of the rechargeable lights out and put them around the house. I even needed to use one to put my coat on to go outside.
Luckily the power came on about 30 minutes later. Crisis adverted.
We ended up cuddling on the couch for the rest of the night, as my dad listened to music. He does that a lot. He usually puts on headphones because mom and I get sleepy and want to watch tv.
When we woke up this morning, we saw how much snow we got.
IT LOOKS LIKE 2 FEET! TALLER THAN ME!
But I had to go to the bathroom, so it was time to bundle up.
My mom had to shovel snow to open the back door all of the way and to give me a path outside.
And so after I got cleaned up (the snow sticks to me so bad) I curled up on my favorite spot and decided to create a new post.
Looks like another cozy day inside for me..
